This is Laban from "the Book Of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ". He's a bad guy who wouldn't give Nephi the brass plates containing his genealogy. One evening, Nephi found Laban, drunk, in an alleyway. Although he didn't want to, Nephi knew he had to kill Laban to get the plates (he'd already tried bartering and asking nicely). So, Nephi slew that nasty Laban and dressed in his armor. Then he went to the storehouse and fooled the servant there, Zeezrom, to give him the plates.
the end.
By the way, I am a Mormon. Have a nice day.

I like this version. I always saw him as being fat, that is only because of that old BOM cartoon about Nephi. Ha ha. Great job.

I don't know if that's what Laban looked like, but it's always fun to see how other people imagine characters, so I thought I would contribute, in the hope that some other people would put up their own ideas...
What do you think he looks like?

Well, actulely I think he may have looked quiet a bit like that. When Niphi descighes himself as Laban, Zoram fell for it with out rather esealy. Even though it ~was~ dark the treasurey should have been well lit if Zoram was working around in there. And considering he was aloud in the tresurey at all emplies that Laban trusted him a little, so he should have known what Laban looked and sounded like. So Laban and Nephi must have been fairly simalar in appearents. Nephi, though young, often descibed himself as being of "large stature", and Laban being in a postion that requiered armor would also have been big and well built. Also in your picture he's wareing a helmet. If he did have one and Nephi put it on then would have obscuered his face, making it eseyer to fool Zoram. Laman and Lamual mistakeing him for Laban isn't hard to believe; they probaly doupted there brothers sucsess and once again, it was very dark.
So realy the only thing your Laban is missing would be a beared, which would also have made Nephi's descighs more convicing if he to had one. Most people did back then.
